Master the art of strategic slowing down

The art of strategic slowdown

If you run a company or are starting a project, you will have experienced or often felt the need for a protected and cozy place where you can deepen, learn, and reflect on the topics that are most important to you.

In today’s society, slowing down has become a forbidden concept-a transgression reserved for the lazy, a professional malpractice.

Yet, mastering the art of strategic slowdown is sometimes a necessity to make the right choices and progress.

The Slow Corner was created to offer you a variety of resources that will help you make the most of your moments of reflection while gently guiding you toward action.

Slow down to think more effectively with The Slow Corner

The Slow Corner is a space where you can give yourself time to take a step back: to breathe, reflect, observe, learn and start again. There are times when the only possible thing to do is to slow down and take time to move forward.

Nature is a master at this. One might think that it stops: the cold winter days with hibernating animals and bare trees, or the hot summer days when only the cicadas interrupt the silence. In reality, in this slowing down, nature never stops: it prepares, organizes, searches for needed energy, prepares for change and renewal.

These are moments we all experience on a daily basis: sometimes we decide to slow down ourselves, other times external circumstances force us to do so. In either case, slowing down can become an engine for growth, respecting our surroundings.

The Slow Corner: a spin-off of Business Diamonds.

The Slow Corner began as a spin-off of Business Diamonds, a business dedicated to creating respectful and sustainable business models.

To complement the consulting, training and coaching activities of Business Diamonds, its founder Laura Angelini wanted to create this digital space, around which a community of experts is forming ready to contribute to a common reflection on crucial issues: ethics, respect, sustainability.

In a short time, the site has seen its audience grow rapidly, reaching more than 3,500 readers per month, or more than 75,000 since its creation between 2021 and 2022.

Four years later, the site is revamped in order to publish content regularly and ensure the continuity of the project.
